Peanut oil yield rate is 40%-50%. After the peanut is pressed or extracted, we can get the light yellow, clear and transparent peanut oil, which is a kind of edible cooking oil easily digestible for human beings. The peanut oil milling industry is a large and highly developed business. For the production of oil, a systematic oil processing method is applied, which includes seed processing, oil extraction, cake processing, oil filtering, oil refining, and solvent extraction of residual oil. Below is the general peanut oil making process:
Pre-pressing section of peanut oil making process:
Husker: if we press the peanut with shell, the shell will take away the peanut oil, so we need to separate the shell with nut first, then go to the next section.

Cleaning Sieve: Use vibration cleaning sieve to get better cleaning effect. This step is mainly to clean the big impurities. Gravity destoner machine: to remove stones in nut, to avoid the stone destroy the machine, and also can get qualified product oil. Magnetic selector: to remove the iron in the nut. Flaker: after crush and peel, we need to flake the crushed peanut , which make the cell wall of peanut broken . And we flake the peanut to 0.55 mm thickness. Then it is useful for the oil cooking. Cooking machine: after flake, we need to cook the flaked peanut , control the moisture at 5-7% , the temperature is 110-115degree, which will help to make the oil into the surface, which will also add the final product flavor. Pre-pressing machine: after all the pretreatment , pre- press the peanut , the oil can be extracted about 76% .
Peanut oil production process
After peanut oil pre-pressing process, we get two parts: the peanut cake and the crude peanut oil.
Peanut cake will go through soaking or spraying contact methods to extract oil. After the solvent extraction process, there is only less 1% oil content in meal.
The crude vegetable oil from above mentioned two ways of pressing & extracting, will be pumped into oil refinery units to produce cooking oil at various grades.These processes include de-acidification (removing free fatty acid), degumming, decolorization (bleaching), deodorization. Then you can get first grade peanut oil. After we get the refined peanut oil, we will use the oil filling machine to pack the refined peanut oil into bottles or into barrel.
For the peanut cake from extraction plant, will be used as animal feed, we can also provide you palleter to make animal feed.
