The journey began in February 2023 when Henan Glory received an inquiry from a Kenyan entrepreneur. The client, who operated an international transport business, wanted to diversify his investments by entering the edible oil processing sector. His plan was to establish a 10TPD palm oil refining and fractionation factory.
Being new to the industry, the client had significant concerns about equipment reliability, investment costs, and overall project feasibility. During early discussions, he was actively comparing proposals from multiple manufacturers, looking for a partner who could balance quality with cost-effectiveness.
Understanding the client's concerns about both quality and budget, our sales team moved quickly to provide:
1. Detailed Quotation — transparent pricing with clear breakdown
2. Tailored Technical Proposal — designed specifically for his processing requirements
3. Live Video Demonstration — virtual tour of our manufacturing facilities and product explanations
The video conference was instrumental in bridging the geographical gap. Our sales manager presented:
- Equipment specifications and technology
- Successful project cases from other countries
- Technical Q&A to address the client's specific concerns
Impressed by our professional approach and transparent communication, the client recognized Henan Glory as a trustworthy partner for his investment.

Equipment Manufacturing & Shipment
The complete 10TPD palm oil refining and fractionation line was manufactured under strict quality control standards. The equipment was packed and shipped on October 12, 2023.
On-Site Installation & Commissioning
Although the client's personal schedule delayed the installation to late 2025, Henan Glory maintained ongoing communication and support throughout the waiting period.
In January 2026, our engineers arrived at the client's factory in Kenya to conduct:
- Equipment installation
- System commissioning
- Operator training
After several weeks of on-site work and testing, the plant was successfully commissioned on February 5, 2026. The facility is now operating stably with qualified oil output, and the client has expressed satisfaction with the project outcome.

The 10TPD plant comprises five key processing sections:
1. Degumming
Phosphoric acid and hot water are introduced to remove phospholipids, gums, trace metals, and colloidal impurities from crude palm oil.
2. Deacidification (Neutralization)
Caustic soda (NaOH) neutralizes free fatty acids (FFA) present in the crude oil.
3. Bleaching
Under vacuum conditions, activated bleaching earth adsorbs pigments and trace impurities to achieve the desired oil color.
4. Deodorization
High vacuum and temperature treatment removes odorous substances, volatile compounds, and residual free fatty acids.
5. Fractionation
Refined palm oil is gradually cooled in crystallization tanks, causing high-melting-point fractions to crystallize. The crystallized oil is then filtered to separate:
- Palm Olein (liquid fraction)
- Palm Stearin (solid fraction)
