On July 13, 2026, Henan Glory successfully secured an order for a 35 tons/day vertical roaster from a sunflower seed oil processing factory in Azerbaijan. The equipment will be integrated into the customer's existing production line to optimize the pretreatment process before oil pressing.
The customer operates a sunflower seed oil processing plant in Azerbaijan. Their factory was already equipped with oil pressing and filtration equipment, but the lack of an effective seed conditioning system limited production efficiency and oil extraction performance.
To improve the preparation of sunflower seeds before pressing, the customer contacted Henan Glory for a suitable roasting solution.
The initial requirement was a 25TPD vertical roaster. After technical discussions with Henan Glory's engineering team and reviewing the equipment specifications, the customer upgraded the order to a 35TPD vertical multi-layer roaster based on their future production expansion plans.
The customer needed to make a purchasing decision within three days, so Henan Glory provided rapid technical communication and professional support throughout the process.

This 5-layer vertical roaster is designed for oilseed pretreatment. Through a controlled multi-stage heating process, it prepares sunflower seeds with suitable moisture content and plasticity before pressing.
Each layer performs a specific function:

| Layers 2–3 | Steaming Layer | The moistened material undergoes controlled steaming, where moisture andheat denature seed proteins and disrupt oil cell structures to preparethe material for maximum oil release |
| Layers 4–5 | Dehydration Layer | Final heating removes moisture, driving moisture content below 3% and developing the plasticity needed for pressing |
Process Performance: Approximately 50 minutes per batch at 120–130°C. Each layer features a continuous stirring device, while side and bottom steam jackets provide uniform, thorough heating throughout the cooking chamber — together ensuring consistent quality and maximum oil extraction.

- Higher oil yield. By breaking down oil cell structures through controlled moisture and heat, the cooker creates the optimal conditions for oil pressing. Seeds that aren't properly steamed leave significant oil behind in the cake.
